ABBY BOTNICK - CREATOR

Abby has a passion for creating art and sharing it with the world. She is a talented film producer, designer, social media manager, aerialist, and dancer. She has produced her own movie STILL BURNING  which was funded by the Undergraduate Research Fellowship Office at Carnegie Mellon University. STILL BURNING reflects her love of dance and cinematography.  In addition, she re-branded the Carnegie Mellon dance company Infra, which was in danger of folding, until she and others revitalized it.  Abby has worked as a featured artist for Melangé Dance Company and Attack Theater. Abby is amazing at organizing other creative types and making things happen.

She started dancing at the age of two in New Orleans where she grew up.  She makes a mean gumbo and adores oysters.  Her hobbies include listening to New Orleans jazz, sailing, scuba diving, dancing, yoga, hanging out with her cat Moose and traveling.

Abby graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2015 with a degree in Drama and Professional Writing and a minor in Dance. In May 2019, she received her Masters of Entertainment Industry Management at Carnegie Mellon in North Hollywood, CA.
